Plot[]

Ambush at Felden[]

The Felina female who was with you the other night, where is she now? [...]"
"Looking for me?
— A Necromancer and Niika

During a night in the Felden woods, Lucan is hanging out by a campfire. Then, a group of undead led by a Necromancer appear and begin to surround him. The Necromancer interrogates Lucan about Niika, but Lucan simply starts joking around with him to make time. Niika immediately jumps from a hidden location, kills all undead and subdues the Necromancer. She tries to question him, but he resists stating that he won't tell them anything, so Niika decides to knock him out, much to Lucan's chagrin. She suggests disguising herself in the Necromancer's robes to follow her tunnels to their base and infiltrate her, but Lucan points out that the Necromancer was a human male, while she is a felina female, so he offers to do so instead. Niika checking the Necromancer finds obsidian, leading Lucan to the conclusion that he comes from Mount Tempus, the only volcano around. They arrive at the tunnel from which the Necromancer came and Lucan, with the robe already on, prepares to leave for the Necrobase, but before asks Niika to take the Necromancer to the Riverstead prison. When she questions him about the existence of that prison, he avoids mentioning his previous stay in there. Niika wishes him luck and Lucan begins to walk through the tunnels, mentioning that he will need more than luck.

Conversation on the balcony[]

You should be asleep, Senn."
"So should you.
— Thalleous Sendaris and Senn

In Oakendale, Senn and Thalleous spend the night in an accommodation. Senn looks at the Protisium Song he has give, and notices that Thalleous is awake on the balcony of the room. He gets up to see him and Thalleous mentions that he should be sleeping, but Senn replies that he should too. Thalleous mentions that all his life wielding Songs had adverse effects on his health. Senn asks him about the Great War, but Thalleous tells him that many lives were lost and the Ardoni were nearly brought to extinction. Senn asks if he has ever meet the Tidesinger, and Thalleous tells him that they have fought together on occasions, and tells Senn that he was the best bearer of Songs he ever knew, but that his true power, however, lay in his ability to unite and lead many diverse people and factions. Senn asks if he was killed by the Deathsinger, and Thalleous says that no one knows exactly what happened, because both the Tidesinger's and Deathsinger's Songs were found after the battle. Senn asks Thalleous about where he is from, and he tells him that his parents, brothers and sisters were killed by the Voltaris and that he was the only one he could save. He also tells him that he could not raise him himself with all the travels he did, so he looked for someone willing to take in a child, but nobody would have wanted a child without a clan, except from Osivian, who raised and cared for him, and named him "Senn" after the Sendaris clan. Senn is somewhat disappointed by what he heard, but he still thanks Thalleous for being honest with him.

Encounter in the stables[]

This time you deal with the girl, i'll get the horses.
— Jalkar to Grim

Leaving Underwood, Jalkar and Grim arrive at a farm and decide to steal some horses that are available so they can flee faster, and that's when they are surprisingly attacked by Abbigail. Jalkar orders Grim to fight her this time and while he goes to look for the horses. Grim gets ready to fight Abbigail but is knocked down from behind by Sam. Jalkar orders him to flee, and Grim climbs onto Jalkar's horse, but is pushed by him, rudely telling him to find his own horse. So, Darlene leaves the house calling her horse Cloud, and when she gets close she pulls down Jalkar who was trying to mount her. Grim is wounded in the arm by an arrow and Jalkar orders him to flee the farm. Darlene asks Abbigail what is going on, and Abbigail tells her that she was trying to catch those thieves. Darlene thanks her for preventing her horses from being stolen and invites her to rest to follow them on horseback later, which Abbigail accepts it.

Following the thieves[]

The Enderknights used to protect the land alongside their dragons. That was years ago.
— Darlene

Later, Abbigail and Darlene follow the trail of Jalkar and Grim on horseback as they talk about the "Dragon stone" they stole. Darlene tells Abbigail that that is not a Dragon Stone, but a Ender Dragon Egg, and also tells her about the Ender Knights who used to protect the land with their Dragons, but one day they suddenly vanished. Darlene asks Abbigail about how she convinced Mr. Finch to allow her to go on this hunt, to which she replied that she just left. Darlene tells her that it was time and that she doesn't understand how she managed to live with him for so long, but Abbigail reminds her that he cared for her since her parents died, and she can't forget that. They arrive at the Tabora Crags, in the edge of Conchord, and Darlene tells her that from here she can no longer accompany her, so Abbigail and Sam leave for the cliffs, after Darlene tells them be safe.

Return to Sendaria[]

Senn, wait!
— Thalleous to Senn before arrive to Sendaria

Senn and Thalleous continue their return journey and are very close to Sendaria. Senn thanks Thalleous for taking him on his adventure. Thalleous tells him that he would hardly call the trip they had just taken an adventure. Timber starts acting strange and Thalleous sees some clouds of smoke coming out of the valley where Sendaria is, so he tries to stop Senn, but both reach the edge of a hill and find Sendaria engulfed in flames and the episode ends.
