Mr. Finch is a human farmer living next to Abbigail. He was introduced in the third episode when he talked to her after she came home from the hunt. He is Abbigail's guardian and a parental figure to her.
Appearance[]
Mr. Finch is an elderly, white-haired human. He wears tattered farmer clothes that appear to be dirty.
Episode 3[]
Mr. Finch catches Abbigail, who was returning home from hunting in the woods. He reprimands her for not fulfilling her farming duties and later brings up her dead parents when blaming her for being reckless.
Episode 4[]
Mr. Finch threatens to call the guards on the thieves Jalkar and Grim for taking the dragon egg, which ends up in him getting shoved to the ground. Later after Abbigail wakes up, he reflects that he and Abbigail shouldn't have meddled in someone else's business, and attempts to stop Abbigail from chasing after the thieves.
Episode 29[]
An illusion of Mr. Finch appears in the Ender Trials.
Episode 30[]
Mr. Finch appears in the epilogue, and looks up to see Abbigail flying on Luna overhead. It can be implied he was given closure about Abbigail by this point, and has made peace with her decision to become an Enderknight.
