The Unyielding Legion is a mercenary group in Ardonia that Jalkar Bowmani was a member of. The Unyielding Legion has many rare artifacts including Eyes of Ender. Not much is known about the group, other than it is seen as a threat to the Ardoni, comparable in danger to the Necromancers.

While there is very little known lore to the Unyielding Legion, it is thought it was established after The Great War.
The Unyielding Legionnaire known as Jalkar Bowmani was hired by the Voltaris clan to steal an Ender Dragon egg from Etherea and bring it to them. Jalkar, along with Grim, managed to steal the egg but were pursued by Abbigail, who had found the egg after they lost it while escaping Etherea, after they stole it back. After Jalkar and Grim killed most of the Voltaris who were sent to collect the egg, they resolved to find a new buyer with help from the Legion, but Grim was left behind and Jalkar was killed by Abbigail before they could seek them out.
A group of Unyielding Legionnaires were assigned to transport an Eye of Ender, but were attacked by a revenge-driven Abbigail and her Ender Dragon companion Luna (who had hatched from the dragon egg Jalkar had stolen). Though most were killed by the duo, one managed to escape, leaving the Eye behind but now knowing that the dragons had returned.
While recruiting potential Ender Knights, Abbigail spotted another group of Unyielding Legionnaires but chose to ignore them to focus on the greater task at hand.
After the Second Great War ended, bandits and mercenaries (including the Unyielding Legion) resurfaced in greater numbers to take advantage of the kingdoms' vulnerability after the war.

- The black clothing Jalkar Bowmani wore is apparently the primary uniform for the Unyielding Legion; what most members wear.
- Grim was originally planned to be a member of the Unyielding Legion as a human until it was decided he would be a creature of an unknown species working with Jalkar to pay a debt.
